1. About This Policy
Dashli allows users to upload Excel and CSV files and convert them into dashboards, charts, tables, and shareable web pages.
Because users may upload files, create public links, invite team members, and manage business data, all users must use Dashli responsibly and lawfully.
This policy applies to:
- Account usage
- Uploaded files
- Dashboard content
- Public sharing links
- Workspaces and teams
- Data editing and exports
- API or automation features, if available
- Any use of Dashli's platform or services
2. General Rules
You agree to use Dashli only for lawful, authorized, and appropriate purposes.
You must not use Dashli in a way that:
- Breaks any law or regulation
- Harms Dashli, other users, or third parties
- Violates privacy, security, or intellectual property rights
- Attempts to bypass platform limits or security controls
- Creates operational, legal, or reputational risk for Dashli
- Disrupts the normal operation of the platform
3. Prohibited Content
You must not upload, store, process, share, or publish content that is:
- Illegal
- Fraudulent
- Abusive, threatening, or harassing
- Hateful or discriminatory
- Sexually exploitative or harmful
- Defamatory or misleading
- Infringing intellectual property rights
- Malicious or harmful to systems
- Designed to deceive, scam, or mislead others
- Unauthorized confidential or private information
Dashli may remove or restrict access to content that violates this policy.
4. Sensitive Data Restrictions
You should not upload highly sensitive data unless you have proper authorization, a lawful basis, and appropriate safeguards.
Sensitive data may include:
- Government IDs
- Passport numbers
- Bank account details
- Payment card details
- Medical or health information
- Passwords, tokens, API keys, or secret keys
- Private employee records
- Personal data of customers or third parties
- Confidential company information
- Legal or regulatory documents not meant for sharing
If you upload sensitive or personal data, you are fully responsible for ensuring that you have permission to process it and that your use complies with applicable laws.
5. Public Dashboard Rules
Dashli may allow you to make dashboards public through sharing links.
You must not make a dashboard public if it contains:
- Private customer information
- Employee personal data
- Financial records that should remain confidential
- Trade secrets
- Internal company data not approved for sharing
- Personal data of third parties without permission
- Misleading, fraudulent, or harmful information
You are responsible for reviewing dashboards before making them public.
Dashli is not responsible for data that you choose to publish or share through a public link.
6. Security Rules
You must not attempt to compromise, disrupt, or misuse Dashli's systems.
You must not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, files, dashboards, workspaces, or systems
- Test, scan, or attack Dashli security without written permission
- Bypass authentication, permissions, subscription limits, or access controls
- Use stolen credentials
- Share your login with unauthorized users
- Upload malware, viruses, scripts, or harmful files
- Attempt to overload, spam, scrape, or disrupt the platform
- Reverse engineer or copy Dashli's software without permission
- Use automation in a way that harms platform stability
If you discover a security issue, contact Dashli responsibly and do not exploit it.
7. Account and Team Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account and workspace.
Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for:
- Inviting trusted users only
- Assigning correct permissions
- Removing users who should no longer have access
- Reviewing public sharing settings
- Controlling access to files and dashboards
- Ensuring team members follow this policy
You must not create accounts using false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
8. Subscription and Limit Abuse
You must not misuse Dashli's subscription system or attempt to bypass plan limits.
You must not:
- Create multiple accounts to avoid limits
- Share paid access with unauthorized users
- Bypass dashboard, file size, workspace, or team limits
- Manipulate subscription status
- Attempt to access paid features without activation
- Resell Dashli access without written permission
- Use manual payment processes fraudulently
Dashli may suspend accounts that abuse subscription limits or payment processes.
9. File Upload Rules
You are responsible for files you upload.
Uploaded files must not:
- Contain malware or harmful code
- Include data you are not allowed to use
- Violate confidentiality obligations
- Infringe copyright or other rights
- Be used to create misleading dashboards
- Exceed reasonable platform limits
- Be uploaded for spam, abuse, or testing attacks
Dashli may block, remove, or restrict files that create security, legal, or operational risk.
10. Misleading or Harmful Dashboards
You must not use Dashli to create or share dashboards that intentionally mislead others.
This includes dashboards that:
- Falsify financial or business results
- Misrepresent sales, performance, or records
- Hide important context to deceive viewers
- Are used for fraud, scams, or impersonation
- Claim official status without permission
- Display manipulated or unauthorized data
Dashli is a tool for organizing and visualizing data. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of your content.
11. Intellectual Property
You must not use Dashli to upload, copy, publish, or share content that infringes intellectual property rights.
This includes:
- Copyrighted data used without permission
- Protected reports or databases
- Logos or brand assets you do not have permission to use
- Proprietary documents or templates
- Any content that violates a third party's rights
If you believe content on Dashli infringes your rights, contact us with details.
12. Platform Integrity
You must not use Dashli in a way that damages or overloads the platform.
You must not:
- Send excessive automated requests
- Attempt to break upload limits
- Upload extremely large or repeated files to disrupt service
- Abuse public sharing links
- Use Dashli for spam or mass unwanted communication
- Interfere with other users' access
- Attempt to manipulate logs, analytics, or platform behavior
Dashli may limit, throttle, suspend, or block usage that threatens platform stability.
13. Compliance With Laws
You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your use of Dashli.
This may include laws related to:
- Data protection
- Privacy
- Intellectual property
- Employment records
- Financial records
- Consumer protection
- Cybersecurity
- Confidential information
- Export or cross-border data transfers
Dashli does not provide legal, financial, accounting, or compliance advice.
14. Reporting Abuse
If you believe someone is misusing Dashli, contact us with details.
Please include:
- The dashboard link, if available
- Account or workspace information, if known
- Description of the issue
- Screenshots or evidence, if available
- Your contact information
Dashli may review reports and take action where appropriate.
15. Enforcement
If Dashli believes this policy has been violated, we may take action, including:
- Warning the user
- Removing or restricting content
- Disabling public sharing links
- Limiting dashboard or upload features
- Suspending a workspace
- Suspending or terminating an account
- Refusing subscription activation or renewal
- Reporting unlawful activity where required
- Taking legal action if necessary
We may take action immediately if the issue creates serious security, legal, or operational risk.
16. Appeals
If your account, workspace, dashboard, or file is restricted and you believe this was a mistake, you may contact Dashli support.
We may review the decision, but we are not required to restore access if we believe the restriction was appropriate or necessary.
17. Changes to This Policy
Dashli may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
If we make important changes, we may notify users through the platform, by email, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of Dashli after changes means you accept the updated policy.
